Holidays = boredom?
Thursday, March 31, 2005

I've been doing nothing significant for the past few days. So boring.. no one is calling me out(to places i wanna go, haha). Ya, have been doing something I like best.. heee that's WATCHING Anime.. haha.. I still catching Inuyasha.. downloaded from Bitorrent (supplied by a fantastic site) watched till espisode 139.. waiting to another batch, which is still downloading.. so long man.. kinda have the impulse to just by the last 28 episodes.. haha.. but unfortunate Poh Kim is not selling the last few episodes.. I wonder why.. they only have the first 100 episodes (actually i've not watched the front part, but heck, I'm just too engrossed with the ending parts.. more much exciting) So no choice, just have to faithfully wait for each download to complete (sometimes i wonder if it's illegal, but i only download for personal pleasure.., anyway anime copyrights seem much more slack).

Actually I'm trying to look for a job in the admin/clerical/cust service area, these are the few types of job i can do, since waitering and stuff are out of question. Don't seem to be able to find one job that requires only 1 month commitment. I have been searching on those job listing websites, and I thought that the job posted online may be quite limited.. So I went to buy a straits times to look at the classified. To my horror, the jobs seemed like lesser than those posted online. At least for office support jobs, it's very scarce on the newspaper. Haha, looks like even the job market has converted online, which is actually very good.. hee.. Frankly speaking.. finding job online is much easier, "cleaner" (i find newspaper a bit dirty, with the inks fading off, haha), convenient.......

I've been playing an online game called A3, which my brother has been religiously playing and training for a few months. He made it seemed like is such a fun game. I find it quite boring, I couldn't last an hour whenever I logged in to play. It's all the same, kill monsters, gain expeience, new new spelll..... so routine.. Probably it's because I don't have a clique of friends to party and play with ba..

Can someone ask me out for KTV.. haha so sianz......

Haha, I'm Back in Blogging Scene again

Just finished my last paper today: Principles of Marketing. The paper is fairly easy, moreover with the shortlisted topics to study given by the kind lecturer mr philip siow. Although the first 2 papers are "oh my god", quite thankful that the exam period concluded in a light-hearted and happy manner.

Just that for marketing, my tutor TJ Boh, graded all of us so low for coursework.. Can you imagine, for all his 3 classes, he did not give a single A, his highest was B+ which only like about 5-6 ppl got it, even Bs were quite little. He graded most Cs and Ds. Horrible. I got B only, so sad, my mid-sem test was A, i dun believe that i did so badly in my project. B is the lowest coursework grade I ever gotten so far. Haiz, other tutors' class there quite a number of As and alot of B+.. haiz.. Just base on such phenomenon, can obviously see that the problem lies to the tutor.

I calculated that I've to get about 90 marks for the main exam to get an A for marketing, unless the subject leader saw a problem in TJ boh's grading and settle it( but very unlikely), or there's moderation needed. Hope so ba, but the paper so easy, surely alot of ppl will score one..

My other papers, LMod and purchasing also not very confident of scoring Z, A might be a little shaky too. For Com skills, counted that I should get a high B+ based on my actual grades, but think they'll moderate up ba.. coz i see others' grades are generally quite jialat. For entrepreneurship, don't wanna say about it.

What have I been doing this semester? So scare to receive my results this semester, scare to see a few B+/Bs appearing. for this semester think 3 subjects are in danger of getting B, hopefully it will turn out okay afterall. hee

Think I'll not think about all these anymore, just rest, play, find a job to earn $$$ to clear my bills and wishlists. haha. I must not be so obssessed with grades, this semester i indeed learnt alot of useful stuff, which is more important. I think i must channel my focus to desire to learn, rather than desire to score.. because with a great desire and passion to learn, it will ultimate result in scoring good grades. hehe=]

So fast 2 years of poly has passed. Going to be year 3 soon.. haha so excited. Year 3 is the most important year. I must get my priority right and do well. 5 logistics subjects next sem. level 3 subject somemore, quite heavy. Thought of adding in 1 more subject, E-logistics. On second thought, think better not. Then i can spend more quality time on the 5 subjects.. hehe think I'm thinking a little too far..

So my holidays is here. Sleep, play, anime, Choir haha. Hope i can find a suitable 1 month job. I would be better if it's a logistics related one.. haha then can ask them if they're willing to accept me as intern in september. I should have registered myself with Singtel cust service to return there part-time from time to time. But I was so pissed and unhappy abt cust service job then, with all the unreasonable customers.. Anyway, past is past. I just need to find a new job.. think i better buy a straits times classified later.. hee

opss. think i've written too long. better stop... byebyez =]
