Recently, I have been contemplating if i should take up this promotion. For your information, I am currently paying $79 per month for 512k singnet broadband service. The plan above is 10000k singnet broadband..for just $88...

The most attractive part is that they are giving away a free 12" ibook G4 (just released 1 or 2 months ago) and a thomson speedtouch 585 wireless modem.. For this modem, just need to purchase the wireless usb adaptor, 2 or more computers can share this internet access. 10000k broadband shared between 2 computers, means that each computer can have up to 5000k broadband access.. still very fast hor, even if share with 4 com, also very fast.. all at just one flat fee of $88 per mth.. hahaha...

I was a bit relunctant about the ibook la, because it runs on macintosh and i heard that it performs differently from the windows which most business students are using, in fact most people are using windows, haha.. However, found out that mac also has it's own version of microsoft office, with words, excel and powerpoint....but access is not included. the original software cost about $500 i think.. kinda worried that i might need to use access or promodel for the final year project..

yaa, today i mentioned to my dad about buying a laptop for me next year. I told him the current laptop is too heavy for me to bring to school... but he seemed unwilling to buy for me.. He said that i kept spending money, all the money that i have.. actually it's true la, I can't keep money with me... last year got a $1500 scholarship, my dad agreed to top up another 1000 for me to buy laptop, but i said maybe wait for a while, see if the price will drop or new model coming out... i ended up spending all of it.. haiz, thinking that i can apply scholarship again. Sadly, SHHK not giving any scholarship this year, no news of it.. and my dad also gave for more than 1000 when he struck 4d earlier...i spent it all also.. haiz... sometimes, i wonder how i spent all these money..

Well, looks that maybe i can take up the ibook and try to adapt to it... if can use, then dun nid to ask my dad to buy the laptop.. anyway, i like ibook also.. haha so nice... it's only the OS that's stopping me.. then i can use the money i earn in SIP to buy the microsoft office for macintosh.. guess, words, excel and powerpoint is good enough to perform basic project needs... then access and promodel can do in sch... or do in my that very heavy laptop.. haha..

So, in conclusion, i've decided to take up this promotion.. haha.. hope the ibook is not out of stock. after the bill is cleared.. i'll go apply for it.. hehe =]
