After days of hard thinking and consideration.. I've decided to go to SMU. Sent a withdrawal request for the law interview and they accepted it..Guess NUS will not be offering a place to me, since my reason for withdrawal is I've decided to go to another instituition and the law faculty has forwarded this email to the admission office.. Good for me, as in one less choice to waver my decision.

People always say, look at the software when choosing the uni. Hardware is equally important to me. To me, SMU possesses an excellent hardware (nice environment, convenience to move around for me etc), and also a good software. The only thing is I will have to adapt and learn how to speak openly and comfortably infront of many people and move away from the traditional learning method..Well I'm open to challenge.

And to begin with, SMU is the dream school that I've been pursuing. In fact i set a goal to go to SMU, that's why i did so well in poly. Furthermore, no matter how many things I wavered, my choice still went back to SMU.. So guess probably, inside me, I just wanna go SMU.. So I should just follow my feeling..

So I've made my choice, hope i won't change my mind away..

Finally received the letter from SMU yesterday. Somehow I just felt so happy to get accepted into SMU, although it's teaching pedagagy is a little bit not suitable for me.... After I saw that letter, I had a sudden urge to default on the NUS law interivew. Upon some consideration, I think that law is really not my cup of tea.. but I don't know how to reject them.. I mean it's not very nice not to go for the interview.. and it's very funny that I inform them I'm not going for the interview as I chose the wrong course...

Dilenmas, dilenmas, dilenmas....

Went for the SMU admission interview yesterday.. long interview... The interview lasted about 1.5 hr followed by a 45 min essay writing..

Interview topic: "Should student bear the costs of university education" I totally blanked out when it's my turn to speak..which is crap.. I contributed significant number of main points to my grp.. yes it's split into 2 grps and its a debate.. I'm the last one to speak and already got countered very jialat by the opposition le. So i'm basically left with "Education is for yourself, if one bear the costs will tend to cherish the education more" Unfortunately it's quite a weak point and i failed to elaborate intelligently on it.. hmmmm.. I realised that i'm not comfortable to learn in the so called "seminar-style" setting.. argh..It's not that i'm not smart.. just no that articulated,.. I'm more of the "brain" than the "mouth".. Guess i just flopped the verbal interview.. haiz..

Essay topic
1) "Tell a friend about the happiest day of your life" So childish so i didn't write..about it..

2) "In less than 500 words, write about contentment" Yes I wrote about this..just crapping through.. realised that my 3 main points are abt the same..just elaborated in different perspectives, lol.. anyway, the essay is definitely much better than the interview..

Why must SMU make their interview so tedious.. and the faculty don't seem that friendly.. yes..somehow sense some degree of coldness from them.. Arrogance? maybe..

So should I take the risk and go into smu where i'm not that comfortable with the learning style.. Or should I just go to NTU Accountancy, which i'm already accepted into... Kinda worried that environment might be a little though for me. So decided to check it out during the hi-tea session (yes ntu is so hospitable, actually invited me to the tea session =])

Guess if NTU is fine for me, i'll just accept ntu ba.. =]

Yeah, I got accepted to NTU accountancy.. I've been hearing that it's so hard to get into ntu accountancy as it's one of the best in Asia, especially when I'm took diploma in logistics and operations mgt in poly.. it's like totally not link with accountancy.. lol.. So happy that they accepted me anyway.. hehe =].. But then still need to assess if ntu environment is easy to move around for me...

Was informed to go for SMU BBM interview on coming tuesday.. they didn't mention anything about essay writing.. so strange.. maybe there's no need to write essay lol.. I heard different things from different person.. so guess i'll find out on tuesday..

Tmr going back to work again.. lol.. got to hear from those customers... I realised that tmr there might be no TL.. shit.. I didn't sign my pay slip for this week.. what was i thinking.. could have signed it on friday and i dun need to worry so much.. crazy me,,, hope there'll be a TL or someone who can sign for me tmr... if not this week's pay will only be given to me in may. cryz.. no money le... according to the agency if never submit pay slip promptly they might even delay my pay...argh.. No.. i need money.......
